The External connector Port EXT1CP2 for Dension Gateway Pro BT enables you to install the Gateway Pro BT outside the vehicle´s glovebox, delivering an USB port, an AUX input, and a bypass switch.
The External connector Port EXT1CP2 for Dension Gateway Pro BT enables you to install the Gateway Pro BT outside the vehicle´s glovebox, delivering an USB port, an AUX input, and a bypass switch.
The existing 3.5 mm jack of the Gateway Pro BT is only for the microphone, and thus does not provide a factory-fitted auxiliary input. Now with the EXT1CP2 you are able to use its 3.5 mm jack input as an AUX input in order to connect an external MP3 player, etc...
Furthermore the EXT1CP2 provides a bypass switch so that you can take the Gateway Pro BT out of the system in case you car is in the garage for an update or repair. And the Glovebox Extension also features a status LED as well as a reset button.
